Initially designed for Special Forces use, the Roadskin Easyrider CE Approved Level 1 Glove has since been fully adapted as a motorcycle glove.
So, what’s the marriage of Special Forces Gloves and Motorcycle Gloves actually like? There’s clearly a need for comfort and a huge demand for safety, whether you’re battering down doors or getting some miles in on the bike.
Roadskin kept the thick, military-grade aramid abrasion and cut-resistant palm pad. Extra cowhide leather was added, and the original fabric was replaced with incredibly strong Maximite fabric.
The gloves already had hard-knuckle protection and have kept that. There’s also leather reinforcement on the palms, and the gloves are touch-screen friendly.
Roadskin have produced a short glove that fits like a glove should as soon as you put them on. The palm and fingers offer a firm and reassuring grip. There’s a Velcro fastener on the wrists so you can ensure they’re the right tightness.
Whilst great in the warm weather, they’ve also been surprisingly warm when temperatures drop. If you’re looking for a decent set of good-looking short motorcycle gloves and are on a budget – the Easyriders are worth a look.

We advise ordering a size larger than usual for these gloves, as they have a snug fit. Treat them with Nikwax or a similar product, and the gloves are said to be able to see you through 60,000 miles of wear and tear.
