UK Bodywork Specialist, Pyramid, have just launched a brand new Rear Hugger for the Triumph Trident 660 which fits from 2021 models to the present day.
This a completely new type of Hugger from Pyramid. They have designed it to fit perfectly between the OEM Spray Guard and OEM Hugger in order to connect the two guards up and create a ‘full rear mudguard’ – providing far superior protection for both bike and rider from the rear wheel during wet/winter weather.
This is a project that Pyramid have been considering for a while due to the current trend of short tail ends on naked bikes – coupled with OEM Spray Guards and Huggers with considerable gaps left between.
Pyramid’s design team works in CAD using 3D Scanning and 3D Printing technology to perfect their design before then moving to testing and, finally, the production stage.
This new Hugger is manufactured from 3.5mm ABS and is available in Matte Black for a subtle OEM look once installed.
Pyramid’s Trident Hugger is easy to install and can be fitted within 30 minutes. The product is a friction fit which is then backed up by 4 x M5 bolts for complete security.
Protection at the rear wheel is drastically improved and hugely reduces required cleaning and maintenance for the shock, linkage and tail section of the bike.
