The electric bike market is still having a pretty rough time, especially in the ‘full power’ sector. But fair play to the likes of Harley-Davidson’s LiveWire offshoot, which is still working away putting out new machinery.

This curious-looking beastie is the new Mulholland, a battery-powered ‘performance cruiser’ built on the firm’s S2 powertrain. That means 84bhp peak power, 196kg weight, and a 121-mile claimed urban range, or 73 miles out of town. As ever, if you want petrol-style operation from this electric bike, you’ll be out of luck. It does have decent chassis spec, though: Brembo M4.32 front brake, Showa suspension and Dunlop tyres. Well-heeled, eco-conscious, mid-distance commuters can find out more on the £17,890 Mulholland at www.livewire.com
