Priced at £13699, it’s a good chunk of change more expensive than the base model. But for the money you get a slightly revised chassis, a taller seat, wider bars, a shorter screen, a chunkier chain, a proper bashplate – and of course, that 21inch front wheel.

It feels good so far – after a short trail and a bit of road work. It somehow feels slimmer, thanks for a slightly narrower seat – and strangely light, despite it weighing 10kg more than the 242kg standard machine.
