Dave Manning has a new favourite…
What do you reckon to this styling? Love it, I do. Dunno why, there’s just something about it that screams classic cool and everyday comfort.
Segura’s a French brand that’s been operating since 1967. Drawing on half-a-century of master leather craftsmanship, the design teams of today are constantly pushing technical boundaries to innovate and offer a unique style. And so sits the Mamba, which comes with Alpha protectors in key areas, and boasts multiple pockets, a vent system, zipped cuff fastening, waist adjustment and collar extension.

It’s properly well equipped, and has adjustable CE elbow protectors; CE shoulder protectors; and a pocket for a CE back protector. The outer’s also abrasion and tear resistant, while the 100 per cent mesh fixed lining is made from recycled fibres. There are four outside and two inside pockets; a forearm pocket; wallet pocket; ventilation system; zipped cuff fastening; waist adjustments; zip and tab with snap-on cuffs; and collar extension.
It’s pretty versatile, too, and you can whip out the Shelltech Super thermal lining if it’s warm outside or leave it in to stay snug in colder conditions. Oh, and the complete jacket is CE Approved, not just the armour! Pretty cool, right? It’s no surprise it’s fast become one of my favourite jackets.
