Husqvarna unveiled three new models at EICMA in Milan – and the good news is that two of them WILL be making it to market this year.

The headline news is the big reveal of the factory’s new production Svartpilen 701 – which joins the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 in the iconic Swedish brand’s street bike line-up.
That’s not all though, there’s also a brand new Vitpilen 701 AERO concept model, and its first electric motorcycle, the EE 5 (which is basically identical to the KTM kid’s electric crosse – Husqvarna is owned by KTM).

The SVARTPILEN 701 is powered by a lightweight 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that kicks out 75hp of power and 72.0 Nm of torque. Its lightweight and powerful engine is housed within a stripped-down chassis and bodywork layout. Using high-grade chromium molybdenum steel, its trellis frame should help to provide precise handling. It also features high quality and fully-adjustable WP suspension and Brembo brakes with Bosch’s latest ABS system.
