Yes yes, nice pics of the 2023 KTM Factory Red Bull MotoGP bike, with star rider Jack Miller. But hang on – what’s this? Miller’s got a curious new helmet, which seems to have the Alpinestars logo where you’d expect an AGV badge. Strange – until we ask Alpinestars about it and they turn all coy. Yes, the Italian brand is adding a proper road/race helmet to its line-up, and Miller is the first to try it out in racing.
Alpinestars has been making MX lids for a few years now, but this is its first road design. It looks fairly conventional, with plenty of aero spoilers and venting ducts. We’re expecting a full product launch later this year – more when we get it.
